Episode 9: D-Day 80, in their own words

On 6 June 2024, the nation commemorated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy – the most decisive turning point of the Second World War.

Eighty years on, we are honoured to share the extraordinary first-hand experiences of five of our veterans who were there, serving across the Navy, Army and Air Force.

In this special 80th anniversary podcast, you'll hear the incredible personal accounts from D-Day veterans John, Harry, Thomas and Bob who served in Normandy and now receive our life-changing support.
