About the event

  • This event offers a unique experience to share memories, celebrate together, enjoy a delicious buffet and explore over 15-WW2 vehicles and equipment which will be on display during the event, courtesy of The Military Vehicle Trust
  • A 1940's DJ and singer will be providing entertainment throughout the event.

Due to the expected high level of interest for this event, Members expressing their interest to attend will be chosen via a random ballot.

We will let you know if you've been successful via email, letter or phone call by Wednesday 19 March 25 (Please note, letters may take slightly longer).

Our military dinners and events around the country take place at venues chosen to minimise travel time and costs for Members. For this reason, no accommodation will be provided by BVUK. If you require help with transport, please liaise with your local team in the first instance.

All Members are welcome to bring one guest/carer.

Dress code

  • Males: Comfortable attire such as lounge suit, dinner suit, chinos and blazer. Headdress may be worn outside the venue. Additional badges such as military memorabilia may be worn, though must uphold Blind Veterans UK standards and ethos.
  • Females: Comfortable attire such as knee-length dress or equivalent, covering shoulders. Headdress maybe worn outside of venue. Additional badges such as military memorabilia may be worn, though must uphold Blind Veterans UK standards and ethos.
