Blind veteran Maureen's post lockdown wish list
The pandemic has been tough for everyone, particularly our blind veterans who are most vulnerable.
95-year-old Maureen, along with others, has been confined to our training and rehabilitation centre in Brighton for almost a year. There have been two isolation periods where the centre residents were stuck in their rooms for 14 days.
It's no wonder that Maureen can't wait to get out. We are all excited to be able to live more freely and see loved ones as restrictions are eased. Maureen told us what she's looking forward to and it starts with a shopping trip!
