Resolutions challenge
Make a change that makes a difference.
Resolutions are a reflection of our hopes, dreams and goals for the future - made at the beginning of the new year or at a key stage in our lives.
They are a promise to ourselves - one that can be hard to keep. Our own wellbeing often takes second place to the demands of everyday life and the need to prioritise others.
We have the solution!
Do it for veterans and yourself!
Whatever change you are looking to make, we have lots of ideas for activities and challenges to inspire you to make a resolution or use as mile stones when looking to make a life style change. Knowing every penny you raise will make a difference to our veterans will give you the motivation to stick to it!
Already made your resolution? Tell us about it.
Give it up
Whether its chocolate or salty snacks, too much caffeine or screen time - if there's a vice that always gets in the way of achieving your health and wellbeing goals, sign up to Give It Up and we will provide the motivation you need to stay on track.
We've all dreamt about taking on a marathon, a skydive, climbing a mountain or saddling up to cycle in scenic landscapes at home or abroad. So why not do it?! Let raising funds for our veterans be the final push you need to take the plunge.
This resolution is perfect for those pledging to explore our beautiful countryside or bustling cities, reduce stress or to finally visit a landmark they always say they will. Plan your own walk and step out while stepping up for our veterans.
With downloadable resources to make planning a get together easy - set a date for a coffee morning or afternoon tea, a quiz night, or an activity of your choice. Make time for friends, family or colleagues and enjoy a proper catch up while supporting our veterans.
Get fit
Try our 30 day Power Up boot camp challenge - perfect for individuals or groups looking to improve their fitness. Sign up to receive our weekly training schedules and you'll be smashing out squats, press ups and planks before you know it!
Making time for your interests can be hard. Whether you enjoy settling down for an afternoon's gaming or tying up your trainers for a run - try out some of our ideas and give yourself permission to spend time doing the things you love while supporting our veterans.

Christine's resolution - Take on a challenge
Christine had always been envious of her brothers who - as part of their military service - had all completed parachute jumps. For years she had not been able to pluck up the courage but her strong connections to our charity finally gave her the push she needed.
Paula's resolution - Give it up
Blind Veterans UK Team member Paula is ditching sweet treats as part of her resolution to improve her health and wellbeing.
“I have a very sweet tooth and this has resulted in a few health challenges for me. Knowing that people are getting behind me by making donations will help keep me on track”.
