One in five people will suffer some degree of sight loss in their lifetime. Our educators are our military advocates for eye health and sight loss.
You'll spread the word about our services to the veterans you meet, book our inspirational speakers for your events, and promote our education resources to others.
What our Military Sight Loss Champion educators do
There are thousands of veterans who are struggling with sight loss yet haven't heard of us and don't know what we can do for them. As a champion educator, you'll engage with the veterans in the mess, as well as others in your life, to let them know who we are should they need us.
Need an inspirational speaker for your military event? Our blind veterans are fantastic at telling their incredible stories of victory in the face of unbelievable challenges. You'll get to book them in and act as their point of contact, and support them with their needs on the day.
Having healthy eyesight is one of the most precious gifts there is - and yet most people take it for granted. Using our resources below, you'll encourage your peers to look after their sight, starting off by displaying our posters in your mess, medical centre or meeting place.
