General gaming queries
Yes, you can enter over the phone by calling 0330 002 0285.
No, we only accept debit cards due to a regulation introduced by the Gambling Commission.
We feel these are competitive prizes, which enable us to draw and increase support. Activities like this spread awareness of the charity while providing a fun way for supporters to get involved with our work.
Please be assured that we take care in ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately and regularly review our prize structure. This means that the funds raised are spent on providing rehabilitation and training as well as practical and emotional support to more than 6,000 beneficiaries and their families.
For every £1 donated to us in 2020/21, we spend 81p on charitable activities, with 19p going to raise the next £1.
Payment is made by cheque and/or vouchers within 28 days of the draw date.
All Blind Veterans UK staff, volunteers and blind veterans are permitted to play the raffle or lottery, except for those working within the engagement directory, finance and senior leadership team. Our CEO and those named on our gaming licence are also prevented from playing.
Immediate family and those living with these individuals will also not be able to participate in the raffle or lottery. External agents involved in the production or promotion will not be permitted to play any raffle or lottery they have been involved in.

The cost of each lottery entry is £1 per week. Players can purchase a maximum of five entries per week and payment must be made in advance. Your Direct Debit will vary from month to month. If you play one line per week in a month with four Fridays, £4 will be debited
from your account. When the calendar month has five Fridays, your direct debit will be £5.
1st prize: £1,000 cash
2nd prize: £100 cash
3rd and 4th prize: £50 cash each
30 runners-up will each get a £10 M&S voucher
Four times a year we hold a raffle with a £15,000 jackpot. All players who play the lottery will automatically be entered into the raffle.
Winners are notified by post within seven working days of the draw date. An online winners list is also available and updated each week.

The weekly lottery is run by Blind Veterans UK, and administered by Woods Group Ltd, Bumpers Way, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 6NG who are our appointed External Lottery Manager.
Unfortunately, no. Only residents of Great Britain can play the weekly lottery.
We require the players of our weekly lottery to be aged 18 and over.
