Introduce a comrade
Do you know a fellow veteran with sight loss who hasn't applied for our support yet? We've made it quick and easy for you to introduce them to us.
Who's eligible?
We know there are thousands of blind veterans out there who could be entitled to our support, yet don't even know it's available.
Anyone who served in the military, including National Service, can apply for support from us if they have a vision impairment. We also support emergency services personnel.
This is our specific criteria.
What can I do?
If you come across anyone struggling with their sight, by simply asking them two questions you could set them on the first step to rebuilding their life:
1. Are you a veteran?
2. Have you heard of Blind Veterans UK?
If the answer to the first question is 'yes' then they may be eligible for our support, so the next thing to do is introduce them to us.
